Hares My Family

I look back and remember the day we first met

Young love just in bloom our future all set

Building our first home and paintbrushes in hand

Dreams and plans it all looked grand

Then along came our little bundle of joy

Oh, so happy we didn’t mind if girl or boy

And now here we are in a bit of a mess

Nappies and noise and hardly any rest

Gone are the days of weekends carefree

We are lucky if we get time for a cup of tea

But the biggest surprise I wasn’t prepared for

Is how my love for you grew more and more

And now you have never been lovelier to me

Than when I look at our beautiful family
