The Flight of the Moon Hare
While you are asleep in your bed all wrapped up tight
Above you the moon hare flies on this blustery night
Through the ice and the snow with the moon lighting her way
The moon hare glides through the sky like a sleigh
Over chimney tops and snowmen you can see from the sky
Twinkly trees, fireplaces roaring and plates of mince pies
Her friends now fast asleep in her fur keeping warm
She will have them home safe and sound before dawn
Tired from the gingerbread, carols and cheer
Woodland folk love to party at this time of the year
So hang up your tinsel, stockings and mistletoe
And celebrate the magical season where everything glows!
