Away with the Moon
A warm summer breeze on a summery night
Swooped up a little hare and took her off on a flight
She flew over hedgerows with the wind in her ears
Laughing as she went, she lost all her any fears
What wonderful views of the fields from up here
As she passed them a family of mice waved and cheered
Sailing up and up she held tight to the balloon
When to her surprise she realised it was the Moon!
It then gently turned and took her back down
Landing her paws safely back on the soft ground
Thank you, dear Moon, now here comes the day
She waved Moon goodnight as it drifted away
