It’s show time! Sunday 5th July 2015, 11am – 4pm, Swan Lane, Long Stratton, on the Norwich road, NR15 2XE

Come and see what makes South Norfolk such a fantastic place to live, work and visit at South Norfolk on Show.

Free entry to this fantastic day out for the family.

Last year over 3,000 of you joined in the fun and found out more about what we do, and how we work both with you and for you, at our annual event that celebrates everything wonderful about the district.

This year promises to be even bigger and better with over one hundred stalls and exhibitors, children’s entertainment, walkabout performers and much more.

Demonstrations of our services, fairground rides, Spider Mountain, face painting, outdoor theatre, animals and plenty of fun and games will keep the children entertained all day long. They can also enjoy building their own model village with our planning team, decorate a bag and go on a special treasure hunt with our environmental officers.

Entertainment on the main stage will be provided by local dance troops, and various school choirs who will be competing for a chance to win £200 and musical instruments as part of the Sounds of South Norfolk competition. There will also be demonstrations from the local Kuk Sool Won group.

If that’s not enough you can also take a virtual cycle ride through our market towns or have a go on our Segway Track. Classic cars and a vintage fire engine will also be on display, alongside top of the range sports cars from Lotus.

Tasty snacks, such as ice creams, speciality coffee, vegetarian treats and hot dogs can all be washed down with a glass of local ale from the beer tent run by our Pub of the Year Winner The Waterfront in Diss.

Take home some delicious treats from the Fabulous Farmer’s Market or the many stalls offering home-made produce. You can also pick up some special gifts, or just treat yourself at one of the many craft stalls. LOVE COUNTRY UK will be displaying gorgeous scented candles just like yankee candles and rather special artwork by Sarah Reilly, She may even be painting live at the event with her unique technique which will soon be featuring in a new educational childrens book later in the autumn.
